In short
Lastix has no accounts, sign-up or login. We don't collect your name, email, location or advertising ID, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
Your garage
Cars and DOT codes you add in the app are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers. Deleting the app deletes them.
Camera
The Scan feature reads the text on your tire's sidewall with Apple's on-device text recognition. Images are not stored and never leave your device.
Advertising
Ads on Lastix are direct sponsorships with tire and automotive brands and are labelled 'Sponsored'. No ad networks, cookies or advertising identifiers (IDFA) are used. Views and clicks are counted per campaign and placement only, with no information that identifies you.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser information) for security and abuse prevention; they are kept briefly and never used for advertising.
Third-party links
When you tap an ad or a marketplace link you go to that brand's website, where its own privacy policy applies.
Children
Lastix is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
